Transporting your Cake

If you are transporting the cake by yourself, place it on the floorboard of the vehicle and not on the seat. Do make sure your vehicle is cool. Drive with extreme caution and never leave a cake unattended in a stationary vehicle, the cake will melt from the heat. Ensure that the car is cool beforehand, and that you have a working cooling unit (air conditioning).

Storage

The cake should be stored at room temperature in a cool and dark room, away from sunlight. The cake should be consumed within three (3) days.

Cutting

Use a long, sharp, straight-edge knife. Use a warm damp cloth to clean the knife between each cut, to ensure the cake crumbs do not drag throughout the cake.

Allergens

Cakes are made in a facility that processes nuts. Although all efforts are taken to ensure there is no contamination, there is no guarantee that your cake will be allergen-free.

Payment

Payment can be made in cash (CAD), cheque (from a Canadian financial institution in CAD) made payable to Ahmed Jaffer, Interac eTransfer (emailed to ahmedjafferbakes@gmail.com) or Visa/Mastercard credit card.
